KID'S RACE INFORMATION

IMPORTANT:ALL PARTICIPANTS must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.


Race packet pickup:

Option 1:
5-8pm Friday, August 11
Tumbler Ridge Community Centre
Option 2:
7-8:30 am, August12,
Start/Finish Line, Core Lodge Road

If you are picking up someone else's race packet, please have an ID and written or digital proof that you have authorization for claiming.


Race Day

7-8:30am Race Packet Pickup
9:00 am Race Start
9:30am Kid's Race start
2:00pm Adult Race Cut off time
2:20pm Awards Ceremony Begins
4:00pm Event Wrap-up

Give yourself about an hours to get to race location. Please plan accordingly and give yourself ample time for driving and parking.We highly encourage carpooling to reduce environmental impact and help optimize parking space.

Getting There:
Please follow road directions or google map links below.
Parking:
Volunteers will guide you on how and where to park when you arrive.
Comfort Tips:
Please ensure you have a sweater/jacket with you as it can get windy and cold during the race specially as you get to the summit.

Event Provisions:Water Stations - There will be water stations scattered through the race route to help ensure that everyone can stay hydrated. There will also be water stations at the start/finish where you can refill your own reusable bottle.Restrooms - There will be porta potties in the vicinity of the start/finish lineSanitation stations - These station will be located near the porta potties and other convenient location.Emergency Plan & First Responders - there will be first aide stations and on-call first responders on stand-by throughout the whole race. A helicopter is on standy-by in case of medical evacuation needs.Photographers:
There will ne two photographers on site located at the start/finish and on the summit.
Food:
There will be a BBQ set-up at the finish line as you cross.
